The application runs on a server at the family's home, the backup runs daily, and the restore was properly rehearsed rather than merely configured. Grades, social security numbers and health data cannot be entered at all: an automatic test checks this against the database on every change.

The blueprint

It starts with a conversation about your business, not with a requirements document. What comes out of it we put in writing, including a price range. CHF 50, credited against a build contract.

Deciding what gets built

The price range becomes a binding number. You receive an offer with a fixed price and a fixed deadline before a single line is written. It also states what the first version deliberately will not do yet. The offer is free and commits you to nothing.

Building and handing over

After four weeks the first version runs at your place and you work with it, even if the whole project takes longer. Whatever daily use reveals goes into the next round. Afterwards the software is yours, with the source code.

The catch

Why this goes so fast

A fixed price and a first version in four weeks sounds too good, and the question is fair. The answer is unspectacular: what used to take a development team and half a year now takes weeks. A large part of the craft is done by artificial intelligence.

What it does not do is the difficult part. A machine does not know how your business bills, which step in the workshop is regularly forgotten, or which figure you actually need at the end of the month. That is exactly where the time gained goes.

That is why the fixed price is possible, and why after four weeks there is something that runs instead of a concept. What separates this from an experiment is the care behind it: the systems above run with automated tests, with backups, and with a restore that has been properly rehearsed.

If a build contract follows, the amount is credited.

Depending on scope, projects range between CHF 10'000 and 55'000. The examples above state the range for each type. Price and deadline are fixed before a line of code is written, and after four weeks the first version runs at your place. If the effort gets out of hand, that is our problem and not yours. Afterwards the software is yours, with the source code. No subscription, no licence.

Founder and managing director

Ivan Barca has run branch networks with more than 100 employees and carried companies through their hardest phases. Over 15 years as managing director and COO, in retail, consumer goods and technology.

He came to technology not through his job but through curiosity. He built his first computer himself at sixteen, and everything around IT has been his field ever since. The management career was added to that, not put in its place.

That is why he develops software himself and with his team. What a business needs and cannot buy off the shelf is built in house. Built rather than bought, and by people who understand the business behind it.
